Greeting friends and family of BCA:

For this upcoming school year, we are excited to announce that we will continue with our "Walk of Faith" every Monday morning at 8:00AM.

This year we would like to see as a year of growth for our school.  We are asking that God will now strengthen the school that He has seen fit to establish.  We want to grow in His grace and knowledge and in His favor in all areas:  This is our “Walk of Faith” campaign.

We believe that God can do great and mighty things with our small school, and that He wants to bless us if we will open ourselves to receive.  We feel the greatest way to invite God into our school to bless and strengthen it is through prayer.  A committed effort to join together in prayer for our school on a regular basis will be the focal point of our “Walk of Faith.”  We believe there is power in prayer and that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is present (Matt 18:20). We also believe that just as the Israelites marched around Jericho in an act of faith to claim the promise of victory over that city (Joshua 6), we too must demonstrate faith and claim our school for Christ and claim God’s blessings on it to His own glory.

Here is how we would like to put our “Walk of Faith” into action:

Each Monday morning at the start of school, our students, faculty and anyone else who would like to join us will walk around the campus of Bedford Christian Academy as an act of faith praying for God to strengthen our school. After this, a parents’ prayer group will meet in the fellowship hall for a time of dedicated prayer for Bedford Christian Academy. We believe if we do what we can do, God will do what we cannot do.

We are committed to this “Walk of Faith” and ask that you will join us in trusting God to strengthen our school this year.  We ask that you would commit to praying for our school each Monday morning.  Mark it on your calendar, and make it a regular part of your weekly prayers.  In addition, you are always welcome to come join us at 8:00 for our march and prayer time at the school; however, being with us in spirit is just as important as being with us in body, and we believe if you will join us each Monday morning in prayer that God will honor our joint prayers with His blessings.

As you pray, ask that God will strengthen our school’s reputation in our community--that we will be a light in Bedford. Pray that He will strengthen our school’s morale, the relationships of the students, families and staff, and that He will bless our school’s finances.  As with any private school, tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating our students, and we rely heavily on God’s grace and the donations of His people. Becoming fiscally strong is one of our greatest needs at this time.

Again, we want to thank you in advance for joining us in our “Walk of Faith.” We believe God wants to bless our school and see it grow as we believe Him for the promises that are in His word:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Jer 29:11 (NIV)

In Christ,

The BCA Family
